Richard J. Voth, Sr

Chief Executive Officer

Richard Voth is an entrepreneur and experienced corporate executive.  He is a skilled strategic planner with the ability to expand early stage organizations and manage subsequent high-volume growth rates. Mr. Voth has a background and understanding of insurance carrier and health plan business processes and the importance of nurturing strong relationships with the provider component of the healthcare delivery system.

Mr. Voth founded Provider Funding Solutions with the intention of helping independent medical practitioners remain independent in the current age of consolidation of practices within major medical systems. Previously, he served as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Information Network Corporation, an outsource service provider delivering IT and administrative services to Medicaid Managed Care Health Plans in Arizona, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.

Mr. Voth is a past founding board member of Meritus Health Partners and current board member of Commonwealth Primary Care Accountable Care Organization.  Mr. Voth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting with an emphasis in business statistics from Arizona State University.   He honed his IT skills at the IBM Education Center in New York and completed the Chief Executive Officer Course through the American Management Association. 

Jody Butera

Chief Financial Officer

Jody Butera has more than 25 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. She has served most of these years in high-level positions with a formidable specialty in healthcare provider organizations, insurance carriers, and health plans. Ms. Butera’s expertise is assisting practice owners in growing their businesses and improving their cash flows, profitability and business value. She utilizes the application of customized financial strategies that address the individually unique needs of single and multi-specialty group practices.

In addition to her role as PFS’ CFO, Ms. Butera is currently the principal in her consulting firm, Pinnell Consulting, LLC.  She provides advisory, strategic CFO and consulting services to privately held companies.  Previously she served as Chief Financial Officer of Banner University Medical Group, Meritus Health Partners and The University of Arizona Health Plans.  

Ms. Butera holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona and an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. She is a certified public accountant in Arizona.  Ms. Butera currently serves on the board of directors and finance committee for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona and is a board member and the Treasurer of the Tucson, Arizona chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.

Richard G. Grady

Chief Information Officer

Richard Grady has had an extensive career in financial services industries in operational, service and marketing as well as extensive technology leadership roles. He has been a visionary leader in understanding how technology forces can be harnessed to solve business challenges. His technology experiences range from effective use of mainframe era technologies when it was current, to recent leadership in the application of object technology in agile development.

As well as serving as PFS’ CIO, Mr. Grady is currently president of Archway Associates, LLC which focuses on strategic advisory services to clients in financial services and healthcare.  His projects have included strategy and assessment engagement for a systems platform with a large captive insurance organization, financial information technology architecture assessment for a large healthcare management group and an extended advisory leadership engagement with a large international reinsurance intermediary in an assessment and strategy project for their global technology platform.

Previously, Mr. Grady served as Senior VP, Finance Applications & Technology, Architecture for Fidelity Investments, Executive Vice President, Benefits Division & Chief Information Officer for Security Mutual Life of New York, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Personal Lines for Travelers Insurance Companies and Vice President & General Manager of Information Technology for Liberty Mutual.

Mr. Grady holds a BA from Colgate University. He was named Top Ten Technology Executives by Insurance & Technology Magazine and was guest speaker at Harvard Business School, Program for Management where he spoke on the topic, “Leading Change in Technology Organizations.”

Veronica Piotrowski

Marketing & Communications

Veronica Piotrowski is an accomplished senior leader with over 30 years of proven success developing organizations and individuals. She is adept at optimizing resources, solving key organizational problems and promoting innovative solutions in complex environments.

Along with supporting the PFS Marketing and Communications area, she is the principal in VP Consulting Group, LLC, providing a unique combination of operational, organizational, leadership and management expertise serving all industries.  Her recent projects include business process management, internal control implementation, policy and procedure development and change management at Honor Health in Scottsdale, Arizona. In advance of founding VP Consulting Group, Veronica was the Vice President at Meritus Health Partners. She previously held leadership roles at The University of Arizona Health Plans and Health Care Group of Arizona.

Ms. Piotrowski is currently pursuing an executive MBA at the University of Arizona and holds several certifications in the areas of change management and customer loyalty.  She is an active leader in her community serving as the Chair of the Supervisory Committee for the Arizona Central Credit Union, Governance Committee Chair at St. Joseph the Worker and serves on the Blessed Sacrament Parish Council.
